2015 Athletics Carnivals
During September all students from Pre-Primary to Year 6 had the opportunity to participate in a Sports Carnival.
The Pre-Primary Carnival was held on Tuesday September 1. Students enjoyed running races and a selection of tabloid games. The tabloid games included long jump, egg and spoon races, sack races, and an assortment of throwing games with vortexes and bean bags. The Pre-Primary Carnival finished with a family picnic. The students enjoyed their first Makybe Rise Sports Carnival experience.
The Junior Primary Carnival was held on Wednesday September 9 and the Senior Carnival on Friday September 11. Students took part in a whole day of activities. They enjoyed track events and a variety of team challenges and novelty games.
There were many impressive displays of good sportsmanship and outstanding athletic achievement throughout the days.
The atmosphere was fantastic on each day with students cheering their tribe chants as well as encouraging their fellow competitors on. We would like to thank all the parents, family members and volunteers who came and supported our students and Makybe Rise on this great event.

1st Place: Hydra 1225 points
2nd place : Flame 1174 points
3rd place: Thunder 1163 points
4th place: Suns 990 points
