2015 BASSA Interschool Winter Carnival

On Tuesday June 23, the BASSA Interschool Winter Carnival was held. In this carnival our Year 5 and 6 students competed against students from Baldivis, Tuart Rise and Settlers Primary Schools in their selected sports.

The sports that our students competed in at this carnival were AFL, soccer and netball. Our AFL and soccer competitions were played at Lark Hill and netball was played at Mandurah Netball Courts on Thomson Street. All of our students gave an outstanding effort towards their chosen sport and displayed tremendous sportsmanship towards the other schools.

A big thank you to the parents that helped out with the teams on the day, Mark Ridley, Audrey Allison and Jennifer Besetimoala and to all the parents who came to support our school throughout the day.

The results from this carnival were extremely close between all of the schools involved. Makybe Rise achieved the following results:

AFL- 3rd place
Soccer:- 3rd place
Netball- 2nd place (on percentage)
