Annual Makybe Movie Night

On Friday night the Makybe Rise community came together for the School Board’s Annual Makybe Movie Night. How to Train your Dragon 2 was the well-loved family movie selected this year.

Before the movie, Tristan from the Mak Daddys entertained the audience by running games for the children and encouraging them to demonstrate their beat boxing talents!

Then everyone settled down and crunched on popcorn sold by Year Six students as a camp and graduation fundraiser and treats from the canteen, while they watched the movie.

A special thanks goes to Board member Mr Matt Whitfield who provided the screen for the night, and to all the School Board members for organising such a great Makybe family night out!
