West Australian Opera’s Incursion

On Friday 27 March, Makybe Rise Primary School was buzzing with the excitement of the West Australian Opera’s Incursion, “Opera’s Got Talent.” The Year 1 to 6s enjoyed a very engaging, educational and entertaining performance that saw two Sopranos and a Baritone battle it out to be the crowd’s favourite Opera Singer. We listened to some beautiful Arias, the familiar “Flower Duet”, and we even joined in singing as the Chorus for The Merry Widow’s party guests. After the incursion, our school was filled with many happy little opera stars!
