Athletics Carnivals

The Junior and Senior Athletics Carnivals were held on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 September.

Luckily the wet weather held off, as students enjoyed a day of active participation. All students were involved in a variety of sports that included team games, traditional running races and novelty events. Students had the opportunity to earlier participate in the throwing and jumping events during their Physical Education classes.

Both days were filled with loud cheering, as each Tribe cheered for their teammates and the other Tribes. Congratulations to Flame who came first with 1064 points. Hydra was second with 975 points, Suns had 904 and Thunder closely followed with 902 points.

Well done to all the students, who once again displayed great sportsmanship and perseverance across all events throughout both days. Thank you also goes to the teachers, Tribe Captains, and high school students who ran the carnival and all the parents who came and supported everyone over the two days.
