Makybe’s Brighten My Day

On Friday 27 March, our school came together to celebrate ‘Makybe’s Brighten My Day’. Whether students were at home or at school everyone had the opportunity to participate by wearing brightly coloured clothes and creating a flower or for Kindy students producing a picture. The flowers contained an appreciation on each petal for all the things that students were grateful for in their lives.

The flowers brightened up the main Makybe entrances for the day or were placed in students’ home gardens for those who made them at home. Have a look at the pictures below.

Opportunities were also provided for all students to contribute to their class Connect discussions to communicate their appreciations.

At Makybe, we are grateful for the supportive culture that everyone in our community helps develop by participating so eagerly in our school events.
